Blogging And Twitter For Website Traffic
If you didn’t already know, you need a lot of customers in your internet business if you want to get good results. And to get more new customers, you first have to get a lot of prospects. And the only way to get a lot of prospects is to learn how generate lots and lots of traffic to your website.
In today’s lesson, I want to share with you some traffic strategies that will allow you to get the leads and sales that you need to remain in business. Some of these strategies you may have already heard of before, but for some reason you have put it off because you had something else to do.
But now is not the time to be procrastinating. You need to learn how to get traffic, get leads, get sales, and get recurring sales from your backend customers. All of these things start by generating website traffic, and without it, you’re dead in the water. Here’s the first way to get traffic to your website that is very good:
1) Blogging
I have a blog, and I love it. My blog is where I can share information and dish out helpful advice and tips to the people who need it. Plus, I get to build a relationship with the people who subscribe to my blog. They leave me comments and ask me questions that are on their mind, and I get to help them out simply and easily.
You can easily start a blog online. Two very popular platforms are Blogger, and WordPress. Many people use both of them, and you can create very beautiful blogs using the templates on these sites. You will want to make it a point to post something new to your blog everyday.
Strive for at least 1 new blog post per day – even on weekends. The more posts you make, the more content you will add to your blog, and the more your content will get indexed into the search engines. Think of your posts as “money pages”. The more pages and blog posts you have out there on the internet, the more money you will stand to make. Here’s another great traffic strategy that I like:
2) Twitter
Twitter is everywhere nowadays. You can easily get a lot of followers on Twitter and lead them back to your website for more traffic and potentially more sales. Twitter is a place where your followers can interact with you and build a relationship with you. The more followers you get, the more relationships you will build, and the more traffic you will get back to your website.
These 2 traffic strategies are very easy to implement and I suggest you start using them in your online business today. If you don’t have a blog, go and sign up for one today. It will be one of the best things that you can do for your online business. And right after you create your blog, head on over to a site called “Feedburner”, and link up your Feedburner account with your blog. You can do some easy RSS marketing with this service.
Good luck with getting traffic to your website.
